Incense holder | Ember
Incense holder in Ember; a deep satin black glaze on a warm red stoneware body.
The base is solid and works best with shorter sticks of incense. Make sure the incense stick you use is super straight, so the ashes are being catched in the bowl below.

Holiday shipping cut off dates
Canada & USA: December 10th (website closing day).
International: preferably before December 1st.
Please note: Shipping outside Canada has proven to take very long in the past, even outside holiday rush. Items coud get stuck and delayed at customs. Unfortunately this is out of my hands. I'm going by the international delivery cut off dates as projected by my carrier (Chitchats and Canada Post) and will do my best to fulfill your order as soon as I possibly can. Unfortunately, I can not guarantee items outside Canada to be deliverd in time before Christmas.
All products are handmade and are subject to minor ‘imperfections’ and variations in finish and sizing. These variations are a characteristic of all handmade products and are not considered flaws or defects.
All sizes mentioned on the site are approximate. Different types of clays have different shrinkage rates. Therefore, variations in size can occur (ie. the Ember and Squid Ink mug).
All items are glazed with foodsafe and lead-free glazes.
Most items are dishwasher safe. However, for longevity I strongly recommend to hand wash all items.
I strongly advise to not put items from the Squid Ink collection in the microwave. Although the iron oxide in the splatters is fully melted with the protective glaze, it's best to remain cautious.
I do not recommend using my dinnerware in an oven. However, you could place them in the oven for a very short time at low temperatures to keep warm (max. 175 Fahrenheit / 80 Celsius).
Pottery will crack if transferred straight from the fridge or freezer to a hot oven or microwave. To avoid thermal shock, it's recommended to let the pieces change in temperature gradually.
Spills from strong coloured foods (like turmeric, carrot, beetroot, etc.) should be cleaned from unglazed surfaces right away.
It's common for marks, discolouration and crackles to appear in handmade ceramics (especially in matte and satin finishes, and if you leave coffee or tea in a mug for a period of time). "Barkeepers friend" can help remove cutlery marks.
Worldwide shipping costs and times are calculated at checkout.
