Shipping policy

Processing time
All orders are processed as quickly as possible within 7 days. Once your items are shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking details if you choose to track your parcel. Local pick up is also available at my studio in East Vancouver, BC. Please select the local pick up option at check out and we'll coordinate a pick up time together.

Footprint
Kat Pino Ceramics aims to use recycled and recyclable packaging materials as much as possible. All paper and cardboard packaging is recyclable. If you receive packing peanuts in your package, please note that they are made of cornstarch and are 100% water soluble. You can dissolve them safely down your kitchen drain. Did you find plastics or non-compostable materials in your package? Sometimes these materials come into the studio, and Kat Pino strives to reuse these as much as possible. Please recycle these material accordingly.

Currency
All orders are processed in Canadian dollars.

Canadian orders
All Canadian orders are processed, packed and shipped from Vancouver, BC, using Canada Post Expedited parcel delivery. Any additional shipping costs for rejected or returned packages will be the responsibility of the customer.

US orders
All packages are shipped using USPS. Rejected or returned packages will be shipped back to Canada. The owing duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

International orders
Kat Pino Ceramics offers worldwide international shipping. Delivery times can vary based on your location. In addition to shipping costs, packages could be taxed on entry to your country and you may be charged customs clearance/handling fees before you are eligible to receive your parcel. This is a fee set by your country and is a separate cost from shipping fees.

Returns
All products are handmade and are subject to minor ‘imperfections’ and variations in finish and sizing. These variations are a characteristic of all handmade products and are not considered flaws or defects. Unless your product arrives broken or severely damaged, all sales are final. If, sadly, you receive an item that is damaged, please get in touch within 48 hours for a refund by sending an email to: hello@katpinoceramics.com. Please include details and photos of your damaged item. Please note that Kat Pino Ceramics is not responsible for return shipping costs or items lost in the mail.
